Mariam

“Our build environment shapes our everyday life and has a big impact on our wellbeing and our community – Let’s build a better world for us and future generations!”

Finishing her studies in Architecture at the Technical University in Austria Mariam joined the research group “Sustainable Constructions” at the University for Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna. There and in several architectural offices in Austria (specific under the team of “Treberspurg & Partner Architects”, who designed the Austrian Nation House for the Olympic Games 2010, first certified passive house in Canada) she could gain experience and knowledge in sustainable design. But – world citizen at heart – Mariam decided to take a big step and move to Canada where she finally arrived in 2012. As a certified Passive house planer (one of the world’s leading standard in energy efficiency) her focus is on sustainable design that optimizes the use of our natural resources, uses available energy resources on site and improves our indoor living experience.
